Pablo from Texas sent in this Fan Experience. "I saw Pyro at the mall. I work there and she came with Flamehead to see a movie. I work in the food court and she came to the place I work at and ordered a turkey sandwich. I made it for her and then she signed my shirt." Fan Art I made this desktop for anyone to use: Thursday, September 21, 2006

I found this cute fan video on YouTube. It's by frankrf. New Top Affiliate Added a new affiliate site! This one is done by my friend, Jen. She is an awesome webmaster for several popular websites and she makes amazing web graphics. I love her style. Her sites are easy to use and read, with simple navigation, stylish layouts, honest content, and well done links/images and intelligent writing. I was so glad she made this site, so she can show you all of her art in one place! And you might be able to find some Pyro stuff there from time to time. SHE EVEN TAKES REQUESTS. Bookmark this site! It's called "Surprise Ending". Screencaps from "Pyro and FlameHead's Fishing Trip - Part 1" Okay I added screencaps from the first video HERE. Hopefully I will make some from Part 2 soon...but I just haven't had time. It's frustrating. Jamie also has been so busy with school and work, she hardly updates anymore. So just bear with me. I'm trying. Lol. New Pyro Quotes Added new Pyro quotes to the Quotes section, thanks to Jen who talked to her online. -------------------------- "One day I'm going to get really crazy with the sewing machine. I am totally doing a show in like a pirate...medieval...banana-suit get up. With one of those spinner hats and a wooden leg. On Jay Leno. Yesssss." --Pyro "Sometimes I want to hit my PC with a baseball bat and then force it to watch me use a Mac." --Pyro -------------------------- Also, here are some funny ones I got from the fishing video of her and FlameHead. I picked them out myself, so if you guys don't think some of them are that great...sorry. I like them. Haha! -------------------------- "We're on a mission." --Pyro "Crikey! We've come across a wild, white-skinned, hairless ape from the waters of Austin, Texas! Sometimes we can see them drinking things such as Bud Lite and hitting on women. They can only thrive off of Bud Lite, Fritos, and bacon......I think they're trying to communicate!" --Pyro "Show us ya pecker!" --Pyro "It's an endangered species! Let's piss him off!" --Pyro Camera Person: "Do you know what a paddle is, Pyro?" (telling her to paddle the boat) Pyro: "Do you know what my boot up your ass is?!" "You're so emo! You're like Emo Jimmy!" --Pyro -------------------------- I love those quotes. More news coming soon! Tuesday, September 12, 2006
They released part 2 of that video I posted before. It is again, quite funny. :) WATCH IT! Pyro and FlameHead's Fishing Trip - Part 2 Hahaha ;) The band has released a great new video that is hilarious. I love Pyro's Australian accent! And if you look closely in one shot, you can see the scar from her spider bite on her left leg, below the knee. Pyro and FlameHead's Fishing Trip - Part 1 This is 'Part 1', so there is supposed to be more coming out. :) Screencaps are coming soon! Saturday, September 09, 2006
We have added another new affiliate. Check out their site for Green Day and Linkin Park! Bands United Some Random Pyro Info After talking to some other people who talked to her on AIM during a DM chat session, we learned some cool stuff about her that I put in the Pyro Facts/Info section. -She has 3 dogs. They are all Great Danes. She has a full grown female named Pepper (gray and black speckles). Pepper has two male puppies named Sam (black) and Goliath (black, gray, and white speckled with blue eyes). She said she might take some pictures of them. -She also has 6 cats and 2 Sugar Gliders named Sophie and Matilda. -Her favorite song as a kid was "Wild Thing" by Chip Taylor. She used to run around the house singing it. She got onstage at someones wedding and sang the whole thing when she was only about 7 years old. Friday, September 08, 2006

Here is some new art by Pyro! It's a really skilled drawing! -click to enlarge- It's funny that she would want to draw a spider, after she got bitten by a Brown Recluse! I found a review on the Personal Concepts of Survival album from the side project Pyro is featured on called Dark World Sunshine. Review is by Roger from KVRX Radio. Dark World Sunshine is the trio of Austin locals Jacob Payne (songwriter), Alex Dupree (vocals/guitar), and J Muzacz (percussion). Originally the brainchild of Jacob and Alex, this project is an introspective journey into the life of Payne, a paraplegic, and both a beautiful and haunting exploration of life, death, and love through the sounds of acoustic folk. Several talented guests are featured on certain tracks (see CD case), and the band's sound reminds me a bit of the Violent Femmes or Devendra Banhart at times. There's some fine songwriting and minimalist, yet excellent musicianship on this record, as on the autobiographical "Paraplegia Blues" (3) or track 5, "Pity’s Prospect." I also enjoyed the simple, low-fi sound, percussion, and vocal harmony on "Dead Now" (7). It's a live cut, and you get to hear the band stop the tape and do a second take—a nice touch that adds to the album's overall charm. Perhaps the best song on this record is track 13, "Away to the Moon." The addition of Konrad Wert's violin and call-and-response vocals harmonies from Pyro Doomsday contribute to a haunting, somber mood on this beautiful song. Recommended Tracks: 13, 3, 5, 7. -From KVRX.org Sunday, September 03, 2006
